How to use this from NJ

  • Aurora here is usually a low northern horizon show, not overhead curtains.
  • Watch Kp ≥ 5, southward Bz, and the OVATION map pushing equatorward.
  • You need dark sky north — light pollution hides faint red pillars.
  • Pair with the forecast board for clouds and the Tonight go/no-go score before you drive.
